Cool blown-out hardcore that’s heavy on the Framtidisms. They seem in less of a hurry than they were on last year’s ‘End Of The Line’ 7″ and the trebly rush has been replaced with a thicker, bassier sound that suits them just as nicely. Amid the speaker-fucking bluster and ear-shredding feedback you get the impression that these Floridians have a bit more up their patch-emblazoned sleeves than mere aural assault, with third track ‘Deterioration’ showcasing some borderline rock n’ roll tendencies that might alarm noise-punk purists but suits me down to the ground since I can actually figure out what the hell is going on for a few fleeting moments. Cool stuff, and definite plus points for the vaguely disturbing crust-punk-with-animal-skull-head imagery on the cover as well.
