My first instinct is that I really want to write “colour” and not “color”. It is not my band though so Brightest Color it is. They are two French guys who are now based in Brooklyn. These three tracks are dominated by high-pitched twiddling. Don’t worry, this is not twiddlemo though. They are a kind of modern, dancey indie with plenty of synthesizer and a distinct influence from Bloc Party. They even throw in the odd gang vocal or two. Unfortunately I am struggling to cope with the twiddling and it sounds cluttered and overly busy to my ears.
