This is an indie band from Italy. There are five fairly lengthy songs here sung in English. The first track has some dodgy wah-wah effects – I’m not a massive fan of that particular guitar effect. This track is also too rocky for me. This, unfortunately, is a running theme throughout the five tracks. “Fading Past Song” is awful. The effects on that one wear me down almost instantly – there is also some high-pitched finger tapping and a rather dubious rock solo halfway through. Dubious guitar effects reappear on “The Passenger Seat” – it is nearly 8 minutes long and the wobbly effects coupled with the length of the song don’t help too much. Towards the end, “Inside Me” is almost a nice chilled-out indie track but again there are questionable effects – this time on the vocals late on in the track. The last song has a lengthy rock solo at the start too and smashes the 8 minute barrier.
I actually might not mind a couple of the songs if they left the effects alone. However, I cannot confirm that and the overall effect is that I cannot listen to this without an overwhelming desire to press skip a few moments into each song. I don’t want to be mean but I’m not liking this at all. The bonus is that they only sent in youtube links to the songs so I don’t even need to delete them.
