Skullshitter. Let’s have that one more time: Skullshitter. Can’t possibly fail, and they don’t because straight off the bat this is some truly ugly, gnarly, filthy hardcore that firmly pops a squat in crustier, Brutal Truth-esque grind territory. There’s an ace dual vocal attack going on that beams in straight from death metal too that slightly obscures the great sounding riffs but it’s all good. I’m getting old so I got pretty fucking knackered about halfway through ‘Boiled Alive’ which still left a couple of songs to slog through, but that is pretty excellent going for a band of this ilk that is at the demo stage of their careers.
