This band comes from Tel Aviv and they get massive respect for sending a copy of the LP in to CZ – always nice to get vinyl sent in. They have apparently been playing together for about 10 years but this is the first release I have heard from them. Sonically they fall somewhere between pop punk and light and poppy hardcore. On the back of the lyrics sheet, the cartoon picture shows them wearing t-shirts of Lagwagon, Green Day and Frenzal Rhomb and that gives a hint as to some of their influences. There are 16 tracks here and they belt their way through the lot of them – no slow songs and, of course, no ballads. The longest track is 1 minute and 44 seconds long so the whole album won’t keep you too long (roughly 20 minutes). It’s fairly straightforward with shouty female vocals, a fast pace and fast riffs. I can’t help thinking of that song from “The Jungle Book” film when I hear the first song, “I Wanna Be Like You”, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. The songs are pretty catchy and the nearest thing I can think of that this band sounds like would be Tilt. Not bad at all.
