I read the lyrics for the first song before I listened to it, and had a flutter of excitement, thinking someone had inadvertently sent some comedy grime into Collective |ine by mistake.
Then I listened to it, and I realized it was a Blood Brothers covers band.
The bass sounds good, and I like quite like some of the music, and noise. But as a whole it just sounds exactly like The Blood Brothers, and the lyrics seem like they are written by someone who thinks they are being clever by writing willfully awful teenage rapper lyrics, so being ‘knowing and ironic yeah?’, unless they are a smug teenager, which I suppose makes it ok.
When it comes down to it, I would rather listen to The Blood Brothers, because I don’t like this.
