Labels: Life on an Island
Review by: Ted Reynolds
Another man and his guitar, In this current round of reviews I’ve had loads of these fuckers, and as sick as it makes me they have all been alright.
This one is the best, it’s the most indie and lo-fi, the songs are good, and I would actually listen to it.
His name seems really familiar, as does his voice. He’s probably in some hot shit super band, but I cant find anything on the internet, although I think Life On A Island must be his record label.
It sort of reminds me of that band Bookstore (that Aquarius song, is clearly the most romantic song ever). I like this a lot more than I would normally expect to, it’s genuinely really great.
The song New Reason is perfect lo-fi indie pop, and makes me happy, and that’s good enough for me.
