If the return of Dinosaur Jr and the existence of bands like Milk Music means that we get a little bit more of this fuzzed up indie rock then I am hardly the one to protest. Three songs of the aforementioned are on offer here, chugging their merry way onwards. The vocals definitely sit in the same ball park as the Milk Music 12″, although musically it’s not quite as exciting as that. Fuck Mountain pretty much just get on with it, and there is not a huge amount of variation from the rasping tones that they favour. Actually, it kind of reminds me a bit of earlier Small Brown Bike too in a way, when they lay it on thick. It’s a fine sound and one I am certainly partial to.
There’s not too much to get your teeth stuck into here, but neither do they outstay their welcome.
