This is a Washington band who split up in 2004 and have reformed a couple of times but these are the first new tracks since then. They play punk rock with influence from classic rock, ska and country here to varying degrees of success. The first song “Bullet Proof” shows that classic punk rock influence and is a bit Gaslight Anthem-y or Murder By Death-y – somewhere between the two. The next track is a bit more country and ska-influenced. I’m less into this one. Then the last track really goes for the classic rock effect – right down to the guitar solos and lyrics about Satan, stampeding horses and death – they even yell “Blitzkrieg!” at one point. I think it might even be a cover version. On the strength of these three tacks, I think this band is best on the more straightforward punk of the opener.
