I really wish this was as good as what the band are hearing in their heads. Mixing up 90s noise rock and Melvins with 70s party rock like Kiss seems a good idea in principle. Dumb headbanging fun.
Unfortunately Bad Guys don’t quite have the chops. It’s well played but the songs just aren’t there. It plods along rather than being balls out bombastic.
Their biog mentions Motorhead but they’re 90s album filler rather than Ace Of Spades.
