This is some poppy and twiddly punk from Sheffield. They are a duo but you’d barely realise it given the amount of noise they make. It opens with some nice, gentle guitar and then gang vocals. It is then pretty fast and shouty with singalongs and combines this with plenty of twiddling but also much thrashier moments. They also have a breakdown towards the end of the first song where everything stops but the gang vocals and some quiet guitar. “Lungs” starts with some rapid-firing twiddling and again has stops and starts and yelled vocals. Both songs are quite raucous when they hit the singalongs – very shouty and geared towards raising your pint glass up. The shoutier parts remind me of fellow Sheffielders Calvinball. This won’t be to everyone’s taste but it’s pretty good and they score bonus points for creativity.
