Instrumental post hardcore, there were loads of bands doing this a few years ago, but sadly not so many anymore. Like Keelhaul or Part Chimp, or the Art of Burning Water (I saw both of those bands a long time ago, and in my mind they were much quicker, but i think they are actually quite doomy maybe ((it has been a long time.)) There’s ample Oxes in there as well. A sprinkle of Karp. I have no beef with this whatsoever.
It reminds me of some good times going to watch bands that you had never heard of and being pleasantly surprised. If you do that now, it turns out to be terrible hardcore or metal-core, or whatever.
