Posset - Seaweed of Silk - CDR (2012)

Labels: Crow versus Crow
Review by: Ted Reynolds

I put this on, and my girlfriend came in and said ‘ooh someone sounds poorly’.

There’s your tip off to the music part of this collaboration with the zine Crow versus Crow. This is an art zine, with some arty music to go along with it.

Music wise its a noisy distorto freak out. Every so often you go to a gig and someone has set up a bunch of medals and has bits of computer and wires all over the place and plays some impenetrable art noise that sounds like you are stuck in a bin in the house of wax while it is on fire. I never enjoy watching it, but listening to it is much better. At the moment I think the wax is dripping off of one of the murdered victims. Now they are alive and screeching at me. Good god what a horrible time.

The zine is all blurry black and white prints of something, one looks like someone’s thinning head of hair. I am a total pleb with the art, but it all looks very nice, I like the flowery black flag bars too.
