Review by: Kunal Nandi
The kind of gloriously oblivious sunshine-drenched rock I imagine everyone in America makes, this LP contains some big-bollocked riffing that unabashedly kicks subtlety to the sideline in favour of volume and joy. Entertainment levels are maintained if you let this steamroller over you and don’t think too much, and when all is said and done I find myself humming the guitar riffs rather than the vocal lines but it feels like it ends too soon which is always a good sign. Think Fu Manchu meets Dinosaur Jr. Now that summers are cancelled here, I can’t wait for that fortnight in April when it randomly gets hot to bust this out.
