Four Minute Mile - Bridges / Street Lights - CD (2013)

Labels: self released
Review by: Edward Ling

Like a straight up blink 182 with occasional harder core breakdowns, there is absolutely nothing to dislike here. Youthful, vigorous and entirely satisfying, this five piece from the US state that gave the world grunge execute the pop punk thing very nicely and probably cut it very well live. With four neatly packaged tracks in just over 12 minutes, this proves there’s still plenty of life left in the old formula. There’s almost a late nineties / early noughties revival thing going on here “” harking back to the glory days of New Found Glory and the others “” and there is nothing wrong with that.
