Labels: make a mess
Review by: Alex Deller
Cool snotball hardcore from some people from some place. Has a scrappy, thrown-together vibe that I can get behind, like maybe if dudes from Battalion Of Saints and Jerry’s Kids got together and recorded some live-in-the-studio demos that didn’t go any further. Guitars are relatively clean and the singer has a neat, scratched-up growl on him which help keep things the right side of rote despite there being 15 tracks on offer. If anything else is forthcoming I’d like to see some of the more interesting elements brought to the fore (the spikiness of ‘God’ and the blurred, woozy quality of ‘Blood & Guts’, say) but, for now, this will do just fine.
