This is a clenched fist full of dead simple vitriolic hardcore / basic punk tracks that get in and do their thing – and then just fuck off, feeling wholly satisfied with themselves. A bit like your neighbour’s cat shitting in your garden. Longest track is seven seconds short of two minutes, half come in under sixty seconds. You just can’t not like that. The song titles maybe hint at a cerebral, reflective dimension at work that perhaps belies the wet-throated super-screamo vocals and reckless shitnails speed of all this – but don’t let that put you off. This is enormous fun. There’s definitely something of the Andrew WK going on here too “” call it party punk if you will “” i.e. six tightly packaged gobbets of rancour and energy that leave nothing to the imagination.
Poke, intent, genuine aggro and absolutely no filler. This is basically ace.
