Gain To Lose know how to write a hardcore punk tune. What strikes me the most on this 7” is the good variance across it – normally all the songs from bands of this ilk sound the same to my ears. There’s also good changes in tempo throughout and some guitar solos thrown in for good measure. I’m sure there are loads of bands that have done it better but for me this is a solid record.
