In a bid to learn something new I looked up what a möbius strip was. It got me nowhere fast although I now know it’s some kind of band or strap that an ant could walk right around without crossing the sides of the strip. Or something. This 7inch travelled here from Washington DC and it’s by a trio I’ve not heard before. They offer up three tracks of angular post punk that are all written and sung by a different band member. The opener features shouted, spoken and sung vocals and reminds me a little of Perfect Future in that respect. A bit heavier perhaps. I’m less keen on the vocal style on the next track but the angrier, shouty “Interpretation” picks things up again and rounds things off nicely.
