Ahem, this one fell down the back of the sofa or something but I realised again recently that it was time to get a review written. This is some scrappy and offbeat jagged post punk from Brighton from a band I have not heard before but I have seen their name bandied about over the internet at times over the past couple of years. Side A features the title track which is a nicely-paced grooving thing with vocals a little more than spoken. Cool song and undeserving of having been mislaid in my house for so long. “Prince Anne” follows this and is a much shorter drumless track – ever so slight spookiness to this one. The first track on side B is completely different – a touch on the experimental side and full of echoey vocals. “Beazer Homes Again” is more like the title track and grooves along with focus. Solid – I particularly like the first and last tracks.
