While the name of the record might make you think you’re in for some Folded Shirt-style ridiculousness, this here 12″ from Bad Noids is instead a pretty excellent exercise in snarly snotball hc. The guitar revs and chunters like a broken lawnmower, the singer taunts and hectors with the worst possible attitude and everything else just charges along like the wheels are going to fall off at any given moment. There’s a definite Void / H100s vibe to things, but Bad Noids are a bit rangier and a bit more garage-y than bands cut from that sort of slobber-stained cloth. It’s as though the blistering hardcore attack has been tempered – only slightly, mind – by a latent love of the Dead Boys and, hey, that’s more than ok as far as I’m concerned.
