Review by: Oli Saunders

Another rerelease of a Political Asylum record from the nineties (with an added comp song and the Solitude 7″) – and like the last one I reviewed I love how unpretentious this is yet how it considerably blurs the line between 90s hardcore punk and emo. The singer is wearing a Dag Nasty t-shirt in a photo and the result does appear to be a blend of anarcho and revolution summer. The riff in Apathy is goosebump inducing, with the song doing a wonderful take on the ‘First they came…’ poem. The guitar solo at the end even has me in awe and I hate guitar solos. I lose my interest as the CD progresses but man this band wrote some killer songs.
