Gumilinski take centre stage on this three way split. For some reason their name is much bigger than the others on the cover. They sound significantly better than I remember, contributing four songs and an audio sample. I am reminded of Tristan Tzara through the guitars and some of the vocals. They hail from the Ukraine and make a good job of it all in all.
CN Roundhouse Kick are up next and sound German. Hoarse vocals. Everything churns away but it doesn’t do much for me. I’d like shorter songs, more intensity. You may disagree though. Topograph!Zemlemer complete proceedings and sound like a decent instrumental band but they don’t really get away with not having vocals. I’m not sure what they are trying to do but the somewhat pretentious song titles and mish-mash of post-rock doesn’t amount to a great deal.
