Labels: self released

Even if this was forty-two minutes of radio static, I would still love it, mainly as a result of both the band name and the album title, both of which bring to mind the work of top Hollywood Screenwriter Eric Blevins. For those of you unfamiliar with Blevins’ work, here is a quick list of his most celebrated scripts:
1. Tokyo Face-Pound About Vengeance
2. Zombie Spaceship Wasteland
3. Deadly Blood-Kick to Oblivion
4. Carvin’ It Up 2 Da Streetz
Fortunately, although Blevins clearly had a hand in naming both the band and the album, I’m not so sure he was too heavily involved in the music side of things as this music seems to be a re-imagining of The Lawnmower Man soundtrack recorded live inside a faulty modem.
Furthermore, it is a thing of great and subtle beauty that Personal Killing Agenda chose to release this album on Christmas Day last year, almost as though it was being held back in order to be conferred upon planet Earth on (what is for some) the holiest day of the year. Crikey.
Incidentally, if you have a spare 100 hours on your hands anytime soon, I can wholly recommend heading over to their Bandcamp page and working your way through almost thirty different releases which are all available to download for free!
Thanks to Patton Oswalt.
