I’ve been keeping an eye on this band and so have heard these two tracks before. The title track was recorded as part of a session that was available a few months back and “Ella” was on their demo in 2012. Anyway, let’s ignore the fact that these have been heard before as they come out for the better here and if you haven’t heard them before and like stuff like Swearin’ and Lemuria then you’re going to want to hear this. These two tunes are catchy and the smart production gives this an organic, live feel while the vocals are a cracking blend of drive and vulnerability. Cayetana are really good. Only two songs here so the overall effect is one of wanting more – I could get pretty excited about a full length of this quality.
