PMT seem half novelty band, half serious punk, as they serve up four songs on this split. The cover artwork doesn’t really help and songs about getting drunk are are way off my radar. But elsewhere the combination of snarled main vocals and sweet backing singing keep me interested and overall this is semi-interesting pop-infused 70s punk. The Destructors are up next with four songs and, whilst I am trying my best, the music just comes across as dull. The fourth song at least changes things up and for a moment I hear hints of early Queers, but all in all there’s no replay value here whatsoever.
