This is a band that I have missed live on several occasions when I have turned up too late or not at all. They play a sun-kissed form of downbeat shoegaze and they’re a duo from Brisbane. I’d like to tell you how it works live but obviously circumstances have transpired against me. The Bandcamp page claims that Josh plays the bass and Errol does everything apart from the bass. I also know that they both used to be in To The North who some folk reading this website will be aware of. That information may not be that useful to you here though as the two bands bear little resemblance to each other soundwise. This is good though, particularly the more melancholy “Perpetual Obstacle”, and if these two tracks whet your appetite, you can find more on Tenzenmen’s Bandcamp page – that’s a label worth keeping an eye on as they put out some decent and varied music.
