The information that came with this explains that this band started out as a solo project but later emerged as band, based in Seattle. Experimental and jazzy in places, the vocals remind me of the guy from They might be Giants, lyrically it appears to be streams of the singers consciousness, hit and miss. The tunes are there, but a couple of times it feels like one of them has just said “I have a kazoo under the bed if you fancy giving that a blast.” It’s not a rock record, really nice in places but at one point I got up to grab their saxaphone and shove it up their arse before remembering I wasn’t in the room with them, a bit insipid for me.
