I like how this demo has been recorded on recycled tape – I got Billy Joel, including ‘Uptown Girl’ – but I do wonder how this will effect the life of a media form already prone to failing. Straightforward garage punk, the vocals sound like they are sung through a walkie talkie/radio à la Amber Inn. It’s all over in six minutes and pretty much feels like one long song as the band fly through one into the next. A bit too tongue in cheek but at least they’re having fun.
