Quiet. Minimal. Delicate. Pretty. All of these things, Aun are. A two-person ambient outfit crafting compact drones that drift on the same currents as Mountains, Labradford or Pan”¢American, albeit without the same complexity or emotional depth as those acts. Still, the experience is not an unpleasant one. Time spent in their company passes sweetly enough, particularly in the case of the tracks where Julie Leblanc’s vocals wisp their way in. It’s a calm, tranquil time. Good for reflection, or closing your eyes and imagining the slow formation of JG Ballard’s shimmering Crystal World.
