One of the people in this band is the nephew of David Simon who created The Wire and is therefore the best person who ever lived (with the possible exception of Ronnie Radford) so I’m going to declare an interest here and say that anything this band does is okay with me.
You however may hate The Wire with all it’s subtlety and nuance, so I’m going to write a review pretending that I’m you, although it’s probably quite likely that you wouldn’t be able to operate a keyboard with your enormous Cro-Magnon digits and continuous lines of drool oozing from your permanently open mouth.
This music is Americana-influenced folk-psych and is pleasantly functional. You might like to put it into your stereo cassette player the next time you have friends round to sit on folding chairs and drink PBR.
