This band was 4 shows old when they sent this in at the end of February. It’s a three piece based in London and Basingstoke – Action and Action and Nitkowski are listed amongst their past bands. It’s a really solid start. There are 3 songs here that are loosely emo-y post hardcore – a little mathy too. Maybe a little less mathy than Action and Action – I’d say this a bit more direct. It’s also pretty tight and the vocals exude a confident shouty side for the most part. Pretty sure it’s the Action and Action guy on vocals too by the way. I’d pick the last song “Oxen” as the best song – it’s driven, loud and emphatic. Even from the other side of the planet, it’s still exciting to hear these new UK bands cropping up and if I was still in the UK I’d be looking to see this band live asap.
