A nicely short and strange start from this Newcastle trio, making as they do a kind of lovely bit of surf-guitar inflected jazzy noise-rock (with some folky vocals on one track) that often gives way to some class bouts of guitar feedback freakery. It’s balanced between calm and chaos without getting too crazy on the noise, and it’s energetic while allowing some breathing space in the mix.
