This is a band from Madison that appears to have come together via various time zones in England, Australia and USA. It looks like theirs is a fleeting existence as by the time this review goes up they will have played their last gig together before one of the members moves back to Australia. Musically we are talking gentle and jangly indie pop with plenty of nods to the 80s – you can hear the influence of The Smiths in particular in some of the guitar sounds and riffs. Alejandra Perez’s light and airy vocals are a lovely match for the music and the lyrics are all downbeat and melancholy. It’s pretty lovely actually – the sort of thing I can listen to over and over again. If you like your indie pop, I’d say this one is a bit of a gem.
