These people play grindcore that is most satisfactory. Most satisfactory indeed. It’s tidily hateful in its delivery and relentless in its pursuit of your misery, forged around blasting drums and riffs that are both airless and unstoppable. Amid the torrential riffing and gargled exhortations lurk moments of dissonance, tattered shrieks of feedback, harmonic squeals and death metal vibes that suggest the band might have as much fondness for Morbid Angel as Brutal Truth. While neither the heaviness nor the savagery can be called into question, an underlying knack for memorable songsmithery prevails, meaning that while you might be steamrollered within an inch of your life by it all you’ll also remember who the hell was responsible.
