What’s this. It cropped up in my Twitter feed last weekend and I clicked on it on a whim, not something I often do as who’s got time to fuck about listening to random music these days (I JEST). And then it sneaked in with this gorgeous slow-burning intro, sounding like a whole swathe of my favourite 90s indiemo. The pace is slow. The guitars do the things I like guitars to do. The vocals. Oh my. And this is their first demo? What have they been listening to, it’s spot on. If they haven’t been listening to Ribbon Fix, then they probably shouldn’t as they have already nailed a great sound and don’t need an outside influence. The second song “You’re Still Here” is a little less fully formed (although still perfectly good), but “I’m Fading” is pure wonderment, I want to hear what happens next very badly.
