Ten tracks of brisk, brutish hardcore from the Xclaim! school of thought. Things are clipped, airless and crisply played, surging forward with a mix of precision and straining muscularity. The singer’s voice is deep, hoarse and furious, lending things a hearty sense of conviction that I wish was mirrored by the music so’s things really bubbled over with a sense of imminent, violent implosion. The top track for me is album closer ‘Time For It To End’ thanks to its skulking, lurking qualities but there’s honestly not a dud on here, and beyond wanting things to be a tad more unhinged I’d say this should be a definite goer if the likes of Jerrys Kids, SSD and Out Cold happen to float yer boat.
