Sievehead - Sievehead - 7

Punky echo sodden garage rock. Reminds me of Sceptres, The Shitty Limits, Sauna Youth, that sort of thing.
80’s hardcore played by people who love post punk.

First song was almost a bit gothy, and I wasn’t totally sure of it, but both songs on side B are absolute blazers – and then going back to listen to the whole thing again, it really comes together. What a great record. Having just looked at their internet page, I notice that they played in London the other day, so it’s a shame I didn’t get to see them. Mind you I wouldn’t have gone anyway, it’s horrible outside.

It’s now finished but I cant stop thinking about it, so I’m going to listen to it over and over. The best thing I have heard since The Downtown Boys record.

This is a definite buy, and don’t be a twat like me, go and watch them play.
