Newish Southampton band here with four tracks of gut-wrenching emo with a very pretty guitar sound. The vocals are wracked with utter desperation though you can still make out the words. Lyrically things are desperate too – one track opens with “My life started with everything falling apart”. Another talks about how “our time is so short and senseless”. I listen to less and less of this kind of music these days but it still feels bleak and it still feels powerful. I’d definitely go and see them live if I had a chance.
