Was impressed with this lot’s debut LP, and this eight-song follow-up sees them continuing to deliver the goods. It’s a clobbering, plain and simple: tight, merciless, lung-scorched hardcore that owes a debt to the likes of Hellnation and Capitalist Casualties, doffs its cap to that snaggly Youth Attack-type stuff and gives Punch a playful, umm, punch on the shoulder while nabbing their knack for direct, airless muscularity. It’s natty stuff and apparently there’s more on the way, which can only be a good thing as far as I’m concerned.
