Decent grind from this longstanding Swedish act. The songs are savage yet catchy, with roiling chaos, skull-cleaving chiggachiggachigga and swarthy slow parts all piling in on each other and fighting tooth and claw for supremacy. You’d be hard-pushed to say there’s anything to truly raise ‘The Great Destroyer’ head and shoulders above the baying hoards – it’s definitely ‘good’ rather than ‘great’ – but if you fancy a heartening blast of grinding filth a la Bolt Thrower, Blockheads and Nasum then you certainly won’t be going far wrong.
