With ‘Kill Them… All’ Aussie noisemakers The Kill haven taken things even further in terms of gut-bursting belligerence. While ostensibly a grind act they oftentimes seem more of a hyperspeed thrash band, their snaggly riffing and hacking attack reminiscent of Kreator or Sodom pushed to the giddy limit. This said, the frontman’s bestial, vein-splitting delivery is more hardcore in approach than anything: a grim stream of vitriol and invective that cuts down everything in its path and salts the land behind it. Despite the speed and brevity it seems like an epic undertaking, a breath-stealing whirlwind of hate and brutality that’s draining to the point where you’ll only just find the strength to lift the record player’s arm in order to start the onslaught afresh.
