An enjoyably louche full-length from these Finns, whose slippery brand of rock n’ roll is rather hard to pin down. There’s a bit of metal in there and a bit of blustery crust, but the overriding influences seem to be Turbonegro, The Misfits and The Cult. The bleary, baritone vocals unfurl like a pervert’s loosely-tied dressing gown as he answers the front door while the guitars slink between pounding intensity and spidery jags – pretty much the perfect delivery mechanism for the shadowy tales of sex, drugs and degradation they’re seeking to tell.
