Foxes Faux - Fox Tales - CD (2015)

Labels: self released
Review by: Oli Saunders

Foxes Faux play multi-instrumental folk music with a rock edge. It’s really fun and catchy but not too much so to become annoying. The vocals are decent and instruments like the violin are what make it interesting. Too be honest, if this variety wasn’t there I’d find it all a little bit second rate. ‘Rioters Queue Here’ is a highlight, and the violin solo here is exceptional. It blurs together a bit as the album progresses; overall, not bad.
