The following is taken directly from the press release:
Costes has caused me so much trouble. Even today, 25 years after the last time I performed with him, I still have a hard time booking shows because he has not mellowed as I have and the venues are afraid, because of my past association with him, that there will be piss, shit, violence, genitalia, racial tension, cops, etc.
Now with a write-up like that I was expecting unbearably terrifying sounds screamed over with a guttural howl by a distant, more reactionary cousin of Ice-T, so imagine my surprise when it sounded like a drunken teenager rambling over the top of the music from a Megadrive game.
For all I know he might be saying the most disgustingly awful things imaginable, but as it was all in French and obscured by someone playing a kazoo, it was rather difficult to tell.
The front cover has a photo of a man with a nosebleed … maybe that’s what the “cops” don’t like.
