When I clicked on the link sent to Collective, it directed me to the Soundcloud of an album called Connected through Corals by a band called Brother Octopus which came out in May of this year.
Because I am a good, Christian gentleman, I have decided to review both albums.
Would you walk by on the other side when someone called for aid?
No.
The Brother Octopus review will now follow.
It sounds like an unreleased Lightning Seeds album from 1988.
Now that my Christian obligation to Brother Octopus has been fulfilled, let’s get back to the serious business of reviewing Defend the Rhino.
Significantly more cinematic in scope than the plinky-plonky electronics of Brother Octopus, Defend the Rhino’s multi-instrumentalist creator Nathaniel Sutton has produced an album of incredible instrumental diversity that draws you in from the first song and never fails to outwit you throughout. A glorious creation.
