Peaness’ cassette EP “No Fun” was four tracks of catchy indie pop that fit in nicely with plenty of the bands on OddBox as well as some of the classic 90s indie rock bands so it’s fitting that these two new songs are on a 7inch in OddBox’s marvellous 100 Club Series. “Same Place” is a joyously wistful catchy tune with a huge chorus before “Seafoam Islands” slows things down a touch but is just as infectious. This isn’t out until the end of January but the pre-order has near enough sold out the lot already. In fact, by the time this review appears it may even be sold out. It’s not hard to see why.
