This is a new band from Madrid with members from other Spanish bands including Ulises Lima and Wild Animals. The lyrics are in English and Carver play a style of emo I can wholeheartedly get behind. Although there are only three songs here, the band occupy a middle ground somewhere between Ulises Lima and bands releasing records on Subjugation in about 1994, particularly in the pretty guitar sound on the first and third tracks. The opener, “Heritage of Arrogance” is a bit of a teeterer too, while the middle track is a little more chaotic. Great start – keen to hear more.
