Not the greatest of originality putting a picture of a skull on the cover of this album and a graveyard on the back. But in truth, I guess chILL can do whatever the fuck they want seeing as I was playing the Spice Girls debut album on repeat in the year that they formed. And whilst this is another metal offering, it is certainly decent. At 18 minutes, they manage to play a fairly extensive and varied set of songs. I’ve got a feeling that chILL don’t take themselves too seriously (I hope not anyway; the video on their website is pretty cringe) but are playing music they love. That’s how it should be.
