Thanks to wallyofdoom and mirieth for posting about this lot – I’m spreading the word a little more. Slowcore has never really been on a production line as most other genres have, so I’m always cheered to hear something new from it. A reddit user writes “ffo: duster, low, slint, dirty three”; for me, the band who jump out in comparison are Bedhead. This stems from not just the vocals but the guitar tone and pace. Check out ‘Truman Burbank At Sea’ for the best evidence of this. It’s not in the same league as Bedhead, let me get that out there, but the music is still very good. Certainly worth listen; this is currently only available as a download but a tape may follow.
